Single-arch limestone bridge, built c.1860, carrying road over Kilcrow River. Hammer-dressed ashlar parapet walls, cut-stone string course, and segmental arch with dressed voussoirs and keystone. Mill pond with sluices upstream and stone-lined river channel downstream.
While of simple single-arch construction this bridge shows skilled workmanship in the combination of hammer-dressed and cut limestone masonry. The bridge forms part of a small-scale milling complex with the former corn mill, mill pond, sluices and mill owner’s house immediately to the north.
