Single-arch limestone bridge, built c.1810, carrying road over River Carbeeny. Round arch with cut-stone voussoirs and rubble stone soffit. Rubble stone walls, parapets and abutments.
That this bridge remains in use, still serving an important function in carrying loads which were unimaginable at the time of its construction, is testament to the engineering skills and craftsmanship in the nineteenth century. Its tooled limestone voussoirs enliven the rubble stone walls.
