Detatched three-bay single-storey house, built c.1780. Pitched corrugated-iron roof with rendered chimneystack and rendered coping. Limewashed random stone walls. Narrow window openings with replacment timber windows. Porch with replacement timber door.
The design and scale of this modest house are representative of the vernacular tradition in Ireland. Though some features have been lost, the structure has retained its original form. The use of corrugated-iron as a roofing material is of technical significance. It is likely that the corrugated-iron roof covering has replaced an earlier thatched roof.
