Pair of semi-detached three-bay two-storey houses, built c.1800, with gardens to front and rear. House to north was formerly used as a school. Pitched slate roofs with rendered chimneystacks. Roughcast rendered walls. Replacement uPVC windows with stone sills. Round-headed entrance openings with stucco block-and-start surrounds and replacement doors. Rendered wall bounding front of buildings.
These houses are of architectural merit. Their symmetrical design is enhanced by features of note including block-and-start entrance surrounds. As a former school, the northern house is of social interest to the town.
