Pair of semi-detached three-bay single-storey houses, built c.1880 at Dromod Railway Station, with flat-roofed extensions to rear. Pitched slate roofs with rendered chimneystacks. Hammer dressed stone walls with tooled limestone quoins. Recessed door openings with brick surrounds and replacement timber doors. Window openings with brick surrounds and stone sills and replacement timber windows except for timber sash window in east elevation.
These attractive houses are part of a railway complex and are typical of well-designed built nineteenth-century railway architecture. The stonework on the exterior is particularly notable and gives the houses character. The use of red brick as a decorative feature complements the grey limestone.
