Detached three-bay two-storey farmhouse, extant 1838, on an L-shaped plan with three-bay (south) or single-bay (north) two-storey side elevations. Occupied, 1911. Vacated, 1930[?]. Now in ruins. Roof now missing. Ivy-covered rendered walls. Central door opening with fittings now missing. Square-headed window openings with sills now missing, and concealed dressings with fittings now missing. Interior in ruins. Set in unkempt grounds with ivy-covered monolithic piers to perimeter supporting wrought iron double gates.
The ivy-enveloped shell of a farmhouse or minor country house representing an interesting component of the eighteenth-century domestic architectural heritage of south County Mayo.
