Detached three-bay two-storey house with attic, built c.1800, with extensions to rear, now abutting two-storey house to east. Pitched tiled roof with dormer windows and rendered chimneystacks. Ruled-and-lined render to walls with quoins and plinth. uPVC windows with stone sills. Timber panelled door with petal fanlight. Tooled block-and-start surround with keystone, approached by limestone step. Two two-storey outbuildings to rear. Wrought-iron gates to yard with cast-iron spear headed side gates. House set back slightly from street with cast-iron railings on limestone plinth.
The vigour of this modest building is further increased with the creative and artistic use of materials such as the attractive fanlight and the detailing of the acorn finials to the cast-iron railings. These features elevate the building architecturally and stylistically above the plainer structures on Pound Street. The finely-executed outbuildings to the rear further enhance the site.
