Pair of terraced two- and three-bay two-storey houses, built c.1850, with extension to rear. Pitched slate roofs with rendered chimneystacks, coping, terracotta ridge tiles and cast-iron rainwater goods. Rendered walls with pebbledash to first floor. Timber sash windows with stone sills. Timber panelled doors with overlights. Rendered and stone outbuildings to rear site with wrought-iron gates leading to farm.
These houses, occupying an imposing location within Athleague, make a striking addition to the streetscape. The varied render treatments add textual variation to the façades. The retention of much original fabric including sash windows and stone sills in conjunction with the rear outbuildings further enhances these structures.
