Double-span stone road-over-river bridge, built c. 1850. Coursed squared rubble limestone walling rising to parapets, cast-iron pattress plates securing wrought-iron tie bars. Semi-circular arches, tooled ashlar limestone voussoirs, smooth-rendered soffits. Coursed ashlar limestone pier and abutments, triangular cutwater with pyramidal cap to east. Coursed rubble stone parapets with square coping to west and segmental coping to east. Bitmac twin carriageway. Spans from south-west to north-east over Owengarve River.
This pleasing bridge exhibits well-executed straight-forward masonry construction which blends well with the surrounding landscape.
