Detached four-bay single-storey former gamekeeper's cottage, built c. 1860, currently not in use. Single-storey lean-to extensions to rear (west). Pitched slate roof, clay ridge tiles, patent roof windows to rear, red and yellow brick banded and flat-capped chimneystacks c. 2000, no rainwater goods. Painted roughcast walling. Square-headed window openings, painted stone sills, painted six-over-six timber sash windows. Square-headed door opening, plain-glazed overlight, painted vertically-sheeted timber door. Various single-storey outbuildings to west in poor state of repair, pitched and hipped slate roofs, rubble stone walling. Set in the grounds of Lissadell Estate, Lissadell House to south-west.
This gamekeeper's cottage is representative of labourer's accommodation within the Lissadell estate. Its unassuming appearance allows it to fit well into its rural setting.
