Detached three-bay single-storey with dormer attic house, built c.1850. Pitched slate roof, clay ridge tiles, pair of brick chimney stacks flanking centre bay and cast-iron rainwater goods. Ruled-and-lined rendered walls to front elevation, roughcast rendered walls to gables and rear. One-over-one timber windows with stone sills. Central round-headed entrance with single-pane fanlight over historic double-leaf timber panelled doors and original brass ironmongery. Opens directly on to street.
One of a group of historic building set along the roadside on the eastern approach to Milltown which together give important traditional character to the village. The road rises steeply to the east, affording different views of the symmetrical elevation from both road directions. The house retains its simple historic form, characteristic of rural towns and villages, and much of its original fabric, including historic windows and a door of particular interest.
