Three-arch road bridge, built c.1810, crossing Abhainn Ráithe [Ray River]. Altered c.1860 and renovated mid- to late twentieth century. Round arches with dressed stone voussoirs, and triangular cut-waters with smooth-rendered copings, coursed rubble spandrels and parapets with rusticated copings, abutments flanking arches to north and south elevations.
An important bridge on the N56, linking An Fál Carrach [Falcarragh] and Dunfanaghy, its construction being part of the development of the road transport infrastructure of the region. Its quality masonry is testament to the skills of the workers who constructed it.
