Single-arch road bridge, built c.1810, crossing tributary of Abhainn Ráithe [Ray River]. Renovated mid- to late twentieth century. Round arch with dressed stone voussoirs, coursed rubble stone spandrels and parapets with chamfered smooth-rendered copings. Square-headed squinch/relieving arch to northwest corner with iron brackets supporting recent water pipes to south face.
Despite renovation carried out over recent years, this bridge retains some architectural and technical merit. The well-constructed arch remains intact, testament to the craftsmanship of those who constructed it. It remains an important part of the regional road network.
