Detached three-bay single-storey vernacular house, built c.1900, having full-length addition to rear (northwest). Pitched straw-thatched roof with mesh over, roped and tied to stone pegs at eaves and gable, with two rendered chimneystacks; flat felt roof to extension. Lime-rendered rubble stone walls; roughcast to addition. Square-headed openings with painted concrete sills and replacement timber casement windows and timber door. Outbuildings to rear.
A small vernacular house that has largely retained its original form and character. The building retains typical vernacular characteristics, such as low chimneys and small openings. The thatched roof, with the associated stone pegs for securing it to the walls, is a feature typical of the region's vernacular architecture.
