Triple-arch bridge, built c.1780, crossing Abhainn Fhia [Owenea River]. Segmental arches with rubble stone voussoirs, cut-stone triangular cut-waters with rendered copings and rubble stone walls and parapets, latter with large field-stones to copings.
This attractive stone bridge carries traffic over Abhainn Fhia [Owenea River] and therefore has performed a social purpose for about two centuries. It has been constructed in traditional masonry and is of technical and engineering merit. The segmental arches give the structure a graceful appearance.
