Appraisal

This attractive national school is of architectural and social significance. It is located prominently on the road to Ard an Rátha [Ardara]. Despite a recent addition it has retained its original character and is enhanced by the retention of timber sash windows and the date plaque. The boundary walls contribute to the setting. The building is a good and relatively intact example of its type and date.
