Detached five-bay single-storey former railway goods shed, built c.1860. Now in use as hardware storage building. Pitched slate roof with roof vents. Rubble limestone walls built to courses, with embossed pointing. Round-arch window openings with glazed timber windows, rock-faced voussoirs with smooth soffits, rock-faced block-and-start surrounds and replacement concrete sills. Square-headed door openings with replacement doors to north elevation. Set within large yard, with rubble limestone boundary wall, with water pump set within red brick housing.
This goods shed is a reminder of the railway complex at Clones, now defunct. It is relatively intact and the well built arched openings betray classical influences. It is a typically good-quality example of nineteenth-century railway architecture.
