Detached three-bay two-storey house, built c.1820, having two-storey gabled return to rear (north-west) elevation and triple canted bay windows to ground floor to front elevation. Pitched slate roof with four symmetrically-placed polychrome brick chimneystacks, timber bargeboards having timber eaves supports, and replacement rainwater goods. Recent square roof-lights to front. Ruled-and-lined rendered walls with block-and-start render quoins, smooth rendered plinth course and moulded render sill course at first floor level to front. Square-headed window openings throughout, having render sills and replacement uPVC windows. Three-centred-arch door opening to front with moulded render architrave surround and dropped enlarged keystone, replacement uPVC door having sidelights and plain fanlight. Square-headed door opening to south-west elevation of rear return with replacement uPVC door.
Although it has been somewhat altered, this house retains much of its early form and character. Its classically proportioned façade is articulated by render detailing, such as the door surround and sill course. To the rear of the north-east elevation, the projecting lower wall suggests that this was originally a single-storey building. The polychrome chimneystacks, ubiquitous in this area, add further architectural interest.
