Pair of freestanding funerary monuments, erected 1897 and appended with additional inscription 1931, in graveyard of Clontibret First Presbyterian Church at Legnacreeve. Square-plan polished limestone pillar dedicated to members of Wilson family to north of west entrance to church. Square-plan plinth and base surmounted by polished marble urn. Surrounded by low limestone kerb, with three posts to each side, four to east. Painted decorative cast-iron railings. Free-standing carved limestone and marble monument to south perimeter of graveyard west of church, dedicated to memory of Reverend Andrew Molyneaux. Square-plan plinth and base with marble cladding, tapered shaft, moulded entablature, surmounted by draped marble urn. Low chamfered limestone plain plinth kerbs extending north.
These late nineteenth and early twentieth-century funerary monuments are of some artistic value, and contrast pleasingly with the other, more plain, monuments of this Presbyterian graveyard. These sombre, yet ornate, funerary monuments add interest to the graveyard, and one monument is prominently located beside the main entrance of the church, indicating the Wilson family may have been important patrons of the church.
