Detached four-bay single-storey carriage house, built c.1840. Saltbox slate roof, with cast-iron rainwater goods. Red brick walls in Flemish bond. Elliptical carriage arches to middle bays. Square-headed door door openings to end bays, having timber battened doors and barred unglazed overlights. Square-headed window opening to south gable, having replacement timber window. Set at west edge of Church of Ireland churchyard.
This site is unusual as it is rare to see a coach house at a church. It was used to shelter horse and traps of the Dawson family during services represents an interesting reminder of the social order of the time. Recently restored, the simple building is enhanced by the retention of early fabric and the use of appropriate materials.
